Since 1994 I have represented our community as a Monterey County Prosecutor. I understand the laws, the people and our local court system and have worked in the Salinas, Monterey, King City, Marina, Salinas and Juvenile Courthouses. I’ve protected victim’s rights, sought just punishments and effectively handled thousands of cases. In 2003-2006 I lead the busiest felony division, Narcotics Court.
I know that equal respect is due towards those appearing in court. I bring honor, dignity and understanding to the bench.
My reputation and integrity has earned me support from judges, elected officials, firefighters, every Monterey County City’s Peace Officer Association, Superior Court Bailiffs, Gang Enforcement Officers and local civil and criminal lawyers.
In addition to 17 years as an attorney I have:
Trained peace officers, firefighters and attorneys as a Legal Instructor since 1992.
Served as Director/V.P. for a charitable foundation serving projects throughout the region and worldwide.
