Todd Hornik for Superior Court Judge
I am the only candidate for Monterey County Superior Court Judge who has ever worked as a lawyer in Monterey County.
Since 1994 I have faithfully represented our community as a Monterey County Prosecutor. I understand the laws, the people and our local court system and I have worked in each of the Monterey County courthouses. I have protected victims¹ rights, sought just punishments and effectively handled thousands of cases of all types. From 2003 to 2006 I led the busiest felony division, Narcotics Court.
My 14 years of service to the community has earned me broad support in this non -partisan race. My endorsers include Monterey Superior Court Judges, elected officials, local civil and criminal lawyers as well as every Monterey Superior Court Bailiff, DA Investigator and Gang Enforcement Officer in the county. Further, I have been endorsed by over 30 individual law enforcement, firefighter and labor organizations representing every city in Monterey County.
In addition to my 17 years as an attorney, I am an experienced legal instructor. I have trained peace officers, firefighters and attorneys since 1992. My charitable and community activities include serving as Director/VP of a foundation supporting many educational projects throughout this region and worldwide. I received my law degree from the University of Florida in 1990, with Dean¹s List honors and my B.A. from George Washington University in 1987, with honors.
I live in Carmel with my wife, Donna and our two sons. I humbly ask for your vote.
